Founder of Journey Way & Regional Recovery Liaison at a Detox Center

Rachel Liebegott is the founder and owner of Journey Way Sober Living and serves as a Regional Recovery Liaison at a detox center. As a woman in long-term recovery, Rachel knows firsthand that freedom from addiction is possible. Her passion comes from her own journey—finding healing, discovering faith, and building a life centered on family and purpose.

Since 2016, Rachel has worked in the recovery field as a program director, sober living manager, and business development specialist. Today, she helps individuals and families take the first step toward recovery, offering compassion, direction, and hope during one of the hardest times in their lives.

Rachel is also a firm believer in the connection between mind, body, and spirit. She finds joy in her faith, her family, and her fellowship. At home, she is a proud wife and mother, raising two children who inspire her every day. In her free time, Rachel enjoys working out, attending 12-step meetings, serving others, and traveling—Greece being at the top of her list.

Genesis Johnson

Program Director

Genesis serves as Program Director at Journey Way with a heart rooted in faith, gratitude, and humility. Having experienced her own journey of recovery, she knows firsthand that change is possible when we surrender, lean on God, and take things one day at a time.

Her role is not about being “above” anyone, but about walking alongside others as they discover their own strength and purpose. She believes, as she was taught, that there is always a solution — and that through honesty, accountability, and God’s grace, healing is available to all who seek it.

At Journey Way, Genesis is committed to creating a safe and faith-filled environment where women can rebuild their lives, grow in community, and experience the joy of recovery. For her, it is both a calling and a privilege to witness women step into freedom and to remind them that they are never alone.

Outside of her role, Genesis finds joy in prayer, music, and sharing quiet, meaningful moments with her daughter. These simple gifts keep her grounded and grateful for the new life God has given her.
